Starr-Gennett Foundation receives community Spirit award

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Community Improvements Awards on September 13th, 2023 and the Starr-Gennett Foundation received their Community Spirit Award. Board President Amanda Wise accepted the award on behalf of the board.

Starr-Gennett Foundation sponors 4th of July Music

The Starr-Gennett Foundation partnered with the American Legion Post 65 to provide the music for the 79th Annual 4th of July on Roosevelt Hill.


Starr-Gennett Foundation Sponsors album release party of local Artist

Starr-Gennett Foundation presents a night with Achilles Tenderloin and friends at Firehouse BBQ & Blues! Americana Blues powerhouse Will Scott's Firehouse debut kicks off the night at 7pm. We'll also hear from Mister Moriah, Khrys Blank, and Rob Funkhouser before Achilles delivers a special full-band performance for the occasion.

Starr-Gennett Foundation participates in depot Festival of trees

Depot Festival of Trees didn’t disappoint! Thanks to The Leland Legacy and Amanda Marquis for their winning bid and continued support. Thanks to First Bank Richmond, Freedom Title, Barnhizer & Associates, Inc., Whitewater Construction, VanVleet Insurance Agency, Wayne Bank, Natco Credit Union, Trademark Construction, Better Homes and Gardens First Realty Group, Brown Appraisal Services, Thor Construction, Carrol Electric and Richmond Furniture Gallery for sponsoring the event and making it possible. Last but not least, thanks to those who bid on our tree. We’ll be able to provide a music scholarship to a local student thanks to your generosity.
